Resources from White Fragility Community Book Read: October 1 – November 5, 2020
The first collaborative effort was an opportunity for the community to come together to read the New York Times best seller, White Fragility, by Robin DiAngelo. This book reflects on racism, introspection, and personal accountability. DiAngelo explores the psychological, social, and cultural barriers that prevent us from examining our own biases and racial tendencies. The dialogues were facilitated by members of the community. In between the dialogue sessions, expert panelists answered questions and addressed common themes that come out of each small group discussion. See the expert panel discussions below.
